The Huntington News
From the fall of 2018 to the Spring of 2021, I was Design Editor at The Huntington News, the independent student newspaper of the Northeastern University community. I led our design team in the creation of five print editions per semester. I also made advertisements, graphics, and social media templates. This position gave me an opportunity to build on my existing skills with InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

2019 - 2020
In late August and early September 2019, I updated the Huntington News print style guide in order to give the publication a more modern look. I updated the selection of typefaces and created an updated InDesign library for staff designers to use.
2018 - 2019
Echo
From 2016 to 2018 I was a designer for Echo, the student newspaper at St. Louis Park High School, and I served as Design Editor from 2017 to 2018. As part of this newspaper, I learned the basics of InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. I learned how to make a cohesive layout in which pages designed by individuals could look good put together. I also developed management and communication skills needed to work as part of a team.
